We need more volunteers
Are you available occasionally for 1-2 hours to help someone elderly or disabled by (e.g.) taking them to a doctor’s or hospital appointment ?
What does it involve?
When someone needs help, we will call you to see if you're available, normally two or more days in advance. If you are, we give you all the details of the task, and answer any questions you may have about it. We pay out of pocket expenses and a mileage allowance to cover drivers' costs.

About Village Link
Village Link was founded in 1993 by a group of volunteers who realised that there is a need for a good neighbour service for people in rural areas to the North and West of Chippenham where public transport is thinly spread. It is funded by donations from its users, from local communities, and grants from several Parish Councils.
